Don't Forget to Wipe

ON THE AIR!!

It’s the Summer of 2012’s first Rory Radio show, beginning at 7pm Central, and it’s bound to be a warm one tonight.  From the looks of tonight’s featured photo, Rory’s even shaved his chest for the occasion.  The studio walls are still carpeted, though.

The requestline is open, and Rory hopes you’ll comment on this post to make your contribution.  Don’t forget, Shat Happens every week in Rory’s Shat Room of Love.  Look for AOL IM Rory Radio and ask for an invite.

Tonight’s exciting show is partly brought to you by the makers of quality IRISH tape– the 24/7 Rory Archive stream relies on IRISH, for just the right amount of hiss….

You Guys Buy Records?

Former Sunday World Records employee Rory Borealus is ON THE AIR again this Sunday at 7PM.

In fact, about the entire WR staff will be in the listening audience, as well as a customer or two.  Except for Bud.  He’ll probably be down at Uncle Bo’s dancing to the sweet sounds that Robin Williams is putting down.

For those out of the loop, World Records was a little record store whose prime years were at 6th and Washburn in Rory’s home town.  It opened in 1979 at 6th and Tyler, then eventually moved again (to 29th and Oakley) in the late 90s, where it expired.  Mr. Bud Dingman was the head man, and it’s been said that most of the other people who worked there were assholes.

Rory may have some World Records stories to share, so be sure to tune in, submit your WR stories here, and join the weekly Shat Room.  Hi Bud!
